Last Feature Friday of November...

Can you believe that the new year is almost here. I can remember when everyone was so worried about what the year 2000 would bring. Now it's almost 2011. Wow!

Well, enough trivia. Let's get down to what you came for. LOL! Welcome to our latest Feature Friday Challenge. It's really a fairly easy challenge this week. While we didn't have too many join this week, it means that those who did, have a better opportunity to win! We hope more will join in this week. The winner will receive a $5 gift certificate from The Character Cafe's Shop.

This week all you need to do is to again use some natural (or neutral) color and this week we'd like to see some glitter/sparkle. See, not to difficult.

Feature Friday Recipe Challenge

Well, its Friday again, and time for our new challenge at The Character Cafe! But first, I would like to thank everyone who participated in last week's challenge....what a wonderful turn out!!! As this is the first time that I have hosted a challenge, I really do hope you will all enter again this week......

Now, this time around we are asking that you include a homemade flower and use some Natural colours (shades of brown or kraft) on your project. The flowers can be made using punches, die cuts, ribbon, paper, fabric, or whatever your imagination can dream up!

November Blog Hop and New Releases!

Welcome!  Hopefully you are coming here after visiting the creatively talented design team!  If not you might want to go to the store for the start of the hop!  Can you believe it is already November?  Soon we will have shorter evenings, brisk fall nights and for those in the US, Thanksgiving!!!!!  Don’t you just love getting together with your family and friends to celebrate with some good old turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes and gravy!!!!  Boy I am stuffed already!!!  Oh and who can forget those wonderful desserts!  Yum

This week you will notice that we are missing a couple of designers!  We unfortunately will be losing Tina because of family and time constraints.  We will miss her talent, awesome coloring and the wonderful easel cards that she does!  We do wish her well in the future and hope she comes back and tries our challenges!  We also have DJ missing since she is in the hospital this time around but we wish her well.
