Hi!
I'm in charge of Work It Wednesday over at The Character Cafe blog.
The technique we will be trying out today is on how to use Liquid Applique on
your image.
This is a very fun technique and can be used not only on digital images but also on
any stamped image.
Above is the Video Tutorial. I am also including a Scribd version of the Tutorial.
Liquid Applique Technique
For some reason I'm still missing the mark on where to show the difference on the image and this way you can read it as well as see the difference between what the image looks like before it is completely heated.
Now for THE CHALLENGE!
We'd like to see a project containing the following: (Using the posted card for inspiration!)
1 DP layer
1 Sentiment
1 Embellishment
1 image
1 additional technique or umpf if you will (like liquid applique/glitter/etc.)
Feels like Yatzee right?! LOL... maybe we'll call it the Yatzee challenge?!
Happy Crafting.
Mary
Sorry to hijack Mary's post :) Kendra

ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card Mary and well done with the video tutorial. I haven't got any of this product, but will try and get some. hugs Shelley
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner, Verda!!! And great card and tutorial, Mary! He is a cutie pie and that technique is so cool!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to win the last challenge using glue. Thank you so much!! This challenge will be loads of fun too. I love liquid applique. I tend to use it a lot at Christmas time for Santa's beard and the trim on his had and suit. Great idea to use it as icing. I will have to think up a cute card, if I have the time with hubby in the hospital, and get it entered.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Verda for winning the 1st challenge
ReplyDelete{hugs}
