A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge #53 & sneak peek!

First off, I want to apologize to Kelly... it's really not her fault she missed the deadline for the Dare U 2 DigiStamp challenge this week. I told her that it was a Friday challenge and so she should be fine to enter as long as she did it before midnight, or in the early evening on Thursday.... OOOOpppps! I guess I didn't think about the time change... either that or they were a bit early... regardless, sorry Kelly!!!!!

Now for my challenge :) The Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #53 "Lace". You see, the challenges I've entered this week really happened by accident... how you ask? Well, we've got a bunch of to-be-released images waiting for a Design Team (which is taking far too long on our part!) and so I thought I'd print them out and play a bit... you know... test them out. I LOVE THEM!!! After taking the time to colour them, I just couldn't wait to do something with them... he he he, and Kelly is away this weekend... he he he!!! Anyway, I figured since we want to start our search by Monday or so, why not give a little sneak peek of what the new Design Team will get to work with!!! I just posted a card with another to-be-released image over on my blog (with a different challenge!) so if you like what you see here... go check it out (heck, check it out anyway! LOL).

On to the goods... This is Princess Ally (to be released by The Character Cafe) coloured with my copics, cut with my new nesties (yay), paper from a kit I have, Basic Grey, prima flowers, acrylic brads, lace flowers, fiskars heart lace punch, sakura glitter pen (love this pen!), Basic Grey flourish stamp, Technique Tuesday princess stamp and lots of love (even though my copics bled a bit...)
Well, I just previewed my post and let me just say that these pics so don't do this card justice... it's so beautiful in person (my favorite!). I'm not an elaborate card-maker like some of you all (whose work I drool over!), but I really like this card (maybe it's the colours? They are my favorite! LOL).

Anyway, better get going... thunder rumbling in the distance!
Be sure to subscribe to follow if you want to be kept up to date on our search for a design team :) Our goal is Monday to begin the search...
Happy crafting!
Kendra

Oh, oh, oh, while I'm here... if you post a comment, please let me know if you prefer with a mouth, or without... I'm curious to see the response (mine is that it depends on the character whether it suits them or not...)
