Hello Everyone, It is my (lilacanglia) turn to do Tek Tuesday today,
I found this fantastic pop up ball tutorial over at Linda's Site with a template.
Linda has made this to fit into a card, but I am doing it as a Christmas ornament.
You will need Two sheets of card, a piece of elastic, double sided tape or wet glue,
images and decorations of your choice,
I used the really cute puppy christmas image from Character Cafe Store.
Cut out two of the template, then score along the lines indicated on it,
put the two tabs of each piece together and punch a hole, and cut the slit in the tab,
Add the elastic, which you can tie, this is to be the length of the gauge on the template,
so there fore if you want a large ball (like mine) or a smaller one it all sizes down when you print it.
After adding the elastic, add either double sided tape or wet glue to the edges,
then stick them together.
I then water coloured the Santa Puppy Digi Images,
I then water coloured the Santa Puppy Digi Images,
which are so suitable for this as you adjust their size,
and then added rub ons,
This is how it looks flat,
and when released the elastic pops it back up to look like this,
I am going to add a cord hanger to the top in the centre then it can be hung as a ornament.
THERE IS A FREE DIGI IMAGE UP FOR GRABS IF YOU INCLUDE THE TEK TUESDAY'S WITH OUR FEATURE FRIDAY AS WELL.
Thank You for stopping by and taking a look,
We would love you to try this and leave a link below so I can pop over and take a look,
either leave a comment here or on my blog handmade by lilacanglia
and I will also supply a surprise prize for one lucky winner next Tuesday.
Hugs
Angie
